Violet

It was a stay-home day, doing the laundry, paperwork and such, none of which offered a blip. I noticed this little violet self-set in a pot of nothing much, near the back door.

Now, I'm very happy to have them popping up anywhere in the garden because when we had the slabs laid, I expressed a wish to let the gaps fill with plants like thyme, camomile and violets. All I have is weed (and mice) because someone puts weedkiller down.

Don't tell anyone but I'm planning to sprinkle flower seeds and forbid any 'tidying up' until something's grown..
