Derwent Pencil Museum…

… We visited the other day.
Now home. And, like a child playing with new toys, I’ve lined up and tried out the new pencils!
The museum was worth a visit. They give you a ‘Pointless Quiz’ to do on the way round.
For those of us (hands up) with a competitive nature it really makes you read the blurb on all the exhibits. (Which is interesting and should be done anyway).
If you finish the quiz they give you the pencil you filled it in with and a few extra ones too.
What joy!
I do hope children today are as thrilled with a new pencil as I still am.

We had a fabulous and restorative break.

I declare myself home, grounded and back in the saddle as of tomorrow.
