Guinness o’clock

My alcohol consumption is much moderated of late, but I treated myself to one Guinness and it was so nice I just had to have another. It still only came to 3.6 units which is hardly a riotous night in.

I always take it easy the day after one of my afternoons spent tramping around London, but did manage a few cleaning and DIY jobs and spent a fair amount of time babysitting Little Miss A, who was delightful today.

Started reading a new book called Butter by Asako Yuzuki. Very intriguing. It’s about butter - amongst other things ….
