Ferries & 18.5c
Another blue sky day. Western Scotland at its best. I heard owls again last night, and when I heard birdsong early this morning I checked the time, 3:20am!
Today was aday for driving and ferries, and what a beautiful drive it was. Kilberry to Tarbert. Tarbert to Portavadie on a Calmac ferry, my main photo. A spectacular drive on to Dunoon where we had a picnic. The Western Ferries boat took us from Hunter's Quay to Gourock. Some of the last leg of driving was spectacular, some not so. The view out to the islands was amazing, ever-changing.
We are now at Culzean Castle Campground which has more amazing views out west.
Rua enjoyed both ferries as you can see in extras, soaking up the sun.
