Going Down.

       Basement; Kitchen ware, Gardening.  I occurred to me there may be some unused to how Boats go "Downhill".
       The answer, of course, is - they don't.  There's a bunch of sillibeggars on the Internet have this odd notion we live on a FLAT, STATIONARY  World and keep repeating "Water finds its own LEVEL".  As far as a Brit Canal is concerned they may be right. NOT the flat Earth, the fact that Earth is so HUGE they can't mentally grasp the size of it.
       However Canals go downhill in steps, Like stairs; to the extend that three of the ten names offered if you enquire online use the name Staircase in it.
