Kirkstile Inn

After second breakfasts we managed to get everyone out by midday. Somewhat ambitiously we planned to walk up to Rannerdale Knotts. The weather was distinctly chilly and windy. The alternative stroll and picnic, extra, through Ghyll Wood and ice cream in Buttermere was a highly successful alternative.
