Bluebells

I had been wondering what stage the bluebells were in at Blackbury Camp and decided to visit with my husband this morning.  We were surprised to see water in the ramparts of the old hill fort but then we have had a fair amount of rain recently.

The bluebells were all out but I couldn't quite work out whether they were past their best.  We only spent about half an hour there so I quickly took a few shots, unfortunately I couldn't smell them either.  Maybe it was still too wet.

After this we returned to Exmouth for some shopping and a coffee in our favourite cafe.
