Hands of Friendship
It was difficult to see my very dear friend of 48 years so immobile and with a wandering mind , but she recognized us and I know it means a lot for her to have visitors . Each time we return I do try to see her. Heartbreaking as just a couple years ago we were out galavanting together having good adventures . A series of bad falls by which she hit her head badly caused trauma induced dementia. She can no longer use her hands or walk. Her son is blipper JohnSmiiey on here so many of you know this story .
Both our families were close as our kids grew up. You’ll see Tiger , John’s cat, prominently displayed on her wall. One bookcase hold some pictures and favorite things .
But it’s just heartbreaking overall.
I thanked the women there who care for her.
