My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Punky managed to get out the other day and has been SUCH a pain ever since. 

I sometimes wonder if we should just let him be an outside cat like Crashy and DG.

But the thing is, I get stressed enough by those two. I don't feel like I can keep them in, because they are used to roaming. But I do worry about traffic and the vicious dogs at the end of the street. 

Punky is less street-smart than those two. So we continue to try and keep him in. 

But as you can see, he is DESPERATE to get out and catch things. Mr. Blackbird here should be grateful.

As for me, I had an incredibly dull day for my 2nd day at Waka Kotahi.

The thing is, it is WAY less stressful than my last three months at Kāinga Ora. What I think I'm being asked to do seems very straightforward and the team seems nice, if dull. 

But I do miss the larfs we had at Kāinga Ora. 

I think it's a good job. I'm sure I'll get used to it. And I did get to have lunch with Lee-Ann today. So that was nice. 

The other BIG plus is that I only have be in the office 1 or 2 days a week. I'm thinking working from home days will be a huge pleasure and not stressful at all.

So long as Punky calms the eff down and forgets about ESCAPE.
