Abbie had an appointment in Goes today to get het UK MSc diploma checked and approved. In the Netherlands students have student loans, but when you successfully obtain a master’s diploma, part of the loan is ‘forgiven’. Part of the loan turns into a gift instead of a loan. If the master’s diploma is obtained in the Netherlands, this happens automatically. As the office is only open once a fortnight, she stayed a few days longer in Middelburg to get that sorted. At 7pm I walked her to the station to wave her off. She is back in Brussels now.
