Starting Early!

I have told everyone I’m having a non-birthday this year, but that has been ignored of course. The celebrations started a week early today as the team had presents, balloons, cards, a tiara, a sash and food all laid on. They made it a special day and it wasn’t too busy so it was good all round. I’ve never been wished ‘happy birthday’ by so many people….although I did point out that I’m still in my fifties for another week! lol

The team bought me some gorgeous earrings, chocolate and a voucher for the the big zip line in Wales. For a while I’ve said I wanted to do it even though I’m petrified but now there is no turning back…eeek.

Rebecca had made cakes that were decorated with mermaid tails. Not only were they delicious they were a work of art. I had a beautiful ring and bracelet from Sue. I am truly spoilt. It was a lovely day.
