At the mall

It is ANZAC day tomorrow. This photo was part of a big display at the mall. My grandfather was part of the New Zealand contingent who travelled to Europe for World War 1. He was only 21 years old when he left. Thankfully he returned home safely but he always refused to talk about the war. The whole experience was simply too traumatic.
