New

Trying some new things. Tender freesia and ranunculus. Hoping they will grow and transfer out to the balcony late May successfully.  

2nd Rail Nocturne

O these delicious sand-banks in the night
 that tell me that Pacific waves are near,
 their whiteness seems at first unnatural. 
Above them stretch the kindred milky way
 and myriad stars.
Ocean has grandeur unexplained 
 by pine and mountain,  citadel and shrine.
