Pushkar

And back here again, the heart of my India and maybe more than that. 
Still not quite right and also feeling out of synch with the place. It's busy and changes I'd noticed last time seem to have entrenched themselves. 
The traveller snobbery radiates out from the tattooed and dreadlocked ones, the sunset place less of a gathering and celebration than it was. Or maybe it's me, arriving in hope of some kind of healing and finding something else. But that's first view. I'm sure it'll change. 
And the sunset ghat remains a splendid place to watch the day's end as the bells toll and flames are kit fit the numerous Aarti ceremonies beginning around the lake.
