Peonies & Rain Diamonds

It rained for large parts of today - not particularly heavy rain but lots of drizzle interrupted by 30 seconds or so of heavier rain every hour or so.

Work was that thing that growled at me all day.  Until it bites, there's nothing to worry about.

Oh and a typical example of Dotzheim (the part of Wiesbaden where it's easy to find me) excelling at extreme weirdness.  The rule seems to be - Dotzheim for Monday to Friday Bonkersness, and at the weekend Schierstein takes over the Ribbons Of Shame.

Coming back from a quick trip to the supermarket this afternoon there is a set of stairs that you have to climb to get to the house.  It's not a particularly pretty part of the walk home and the stairs are horrible.  It was all made worse by a man who was standing in the trees and who started howling/roaring as soon as he saw me.  Standard defensive tactics employed - no looking at him and certainly no interaction with him.  When he started to rant at me, he was roundly ignored.

You might think this is a far fetched story but it is retold here with no exaggeration.

You don't have to search for long to find people like him.  Maybe there's something in the water.
