Fortified

Arrived in good time for Le Shuttle and were sent through rapidly to a much earlier train - no time to grab a quick coffee! - & are now settled for the night at Bergues, which is our usual first stop if we're travelling SE. It's a pleasant town with much of the remains of its fortifications still in place, so we did the compulsory walk around part of the ramparts before heading back through the town.
