It was an awkward day to manage today.Our lodge booking agency have been giving us short bookings back-to-back instead of our usual Saturday changeover. What that meant today was that we had to use both cars: I had to go for my Talking Therapies appointment at the hospital and The Man went to start the cleaning. However, he also had an appointment to have a dressing removed, by which time I was back to continue the cleaning.

We thought our time out would be hard to make up for but we got the cleaning done and as it turned out, the visitors weren't able to set off until after work.

When I got home I noticed the first bud on our apple tree had opened.
