While on my runs

Briefly on the surface

On the way home after work I called in at Te Wai Orea (Western Springs Lake). Until last week, I hadn't been here for weeks; even months. When commuting by car it is both easy and welcome to do so. Commuting by train means another time and a specific trip to the lake.

The photo of a Weweia (dabchick) was taken as the light was fading. There was even less light when I saw a Pukeko and got the extra.
