Scott Monument

Popped in to town to meet a friend for a quick chat before he went to a meeting.
Then over to Rose Street to return my walking boots which have split - after only 6 months use. They are being sent off for review before the decision on whether to replace them. So in the meantime I will be back to my old boots. Walked passed the Scott Monument where lots of tourists were takings photos so I joined them.
Went to the cinema in the evening to see the film of the Macbeth play - with David Tennant as the main man. MacB was my o level play so have seen it a few times over the years. This was an interesting one - a little confusing at times. David Tennant was fabulous. I would have loved to see it on stage.
I did overhear a lady next to me saying she didn’t enjoy it at all and it was like a bad episode of Dr Who!
