Drill

After yesterday’s golf drills it’s back to earth for Alex as he gets his hands dirty at the allotment preparing a drill for sowing lettuce. I showed him what to do and left him to it apart from watering can duties. We’ll see how good a seed sower he is soon enough. We were really there to plant some more seed potatoes and that done, he made the mistake of asking to use the mower. Offer declined as I handed him the strimmer!
S is handling the English lessons but it wasn’t all work for the lad as we hit the golf course again after dinner. I think he was expecting great things after his lesson but reality struck. Welcome to my world.
