It's my beautiful Mothers birthday today...
She was born at home in Cardross, a wee village outside of Helensburgh. Delivered by the local doctor who had had a little too much to drink and pronounced her "dead "
and put her at the bottom of the bed. Luckily my feisty old great grandmother was there, picked her up, turned her upside down and beat her feet until she cried... then put her in a shoebox next to the fire. This was taken on her 26 th birthday , in then Rhodesia ... Today she turn 78.
