As Abstract As Possible!

You all know what I did to this flower to meet the Abstract Thursday challenge of "As Abstract As Possible".---ICM, of course!  My wonderful mother-in-law taught me to call them Gaillardias, though many people call them Firewheels or Indian Blankets.  So, the Gaillardias  that are usually quite abundant at this time of year, always make me think of her.  The wildflowers have been much more scarce along the trail this year and these are the first Gaillardias I have  seen this year.  I chose to use this shot because it made me think of fire or flames.  Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting,,,,,
