King Power Stadium

Bit of a lazy morning, despite having woke up at 6 am. Around 8 am I put the drone up to fly around the fields surrounding the rental, with Mme MB as the observer. Filmed and took a few photos. Went a bit further afield than up till now, went 100m up for the first time  On one occasion I crossed the neighbouring field, then flew high above a field full of sheep. They wouldn't see the drone as it was a speck in the sky, but it seemed the noise spooked them, so I quickly turned back.

After lunch, we drove into Leicester via Blaby up to the King Power Stadium off Aylestone Road. After the pandemic we visited it for the first time in 2023 for a tour. Then last year we just went to the shop, where we picked up some new football shirts and other bits.
We did the same today, except we were pressed for time because we were due to meet up with the friend I stayed with last week, at the Hollywood Bowl in Thorpe Astley. Another place we went to last year.

After a couple of games there (not cheap) which I had booked a couple of days ago, we went to my friends house where he ordered an Indian takeaway from a place in Desford to be delivered.
I had one from the same place last week and it was really very good. Nice curries but also potato with spinach.

We got back to the rental at about 10.45pm. So soon time for bed and my last full day tomorrow. I will take the train from Market Harborough on Saturday morning. Mme MB, Rémy & Emma will follow on Sunday in the Kangoo.
