Coffee & cake at Parke

An early visit in CK this morning.
I dropped the car at ARG's garage for repairs. Sara picked me up then off to Parke to meet up with Jackie & Carola. The "girls" were all members of the floristry team when I was planteria manager at Fermoy's 20 plus years ago. So many ex Fermoy's staff are still in touch with each other. We worked hard, had some fun & enjoyed the comaraderie.
Back to the garage.... Ouch! Parts cost £40, labour... £130.
Back to CK, sat & had a chat with Mum while she ate her lunch.
Chudleigh, quick snack then cracked on out in the garden, managed to pot on 3 clematis successfully, without damaging the new growrh. Topped up the borders with spent compost but could not repot the trachycarpus... It was way to heavy (no pun intended) for me to repot. A couple of big strong men should do the job. I've asked hubby if he can ask his pals if they can assist. :-). Still work to do but will soon be ready to pop in some annual summer colour.
Making dinner.. No potatoes!!! No oven chips!!! I cannot remember the last time that happened.. Hey ho! We did'nt starve..
These fabulous tulips were looking fabulous in a tub outside the Community garden at Parke. The double Wood anemone growing in the bottom of the hedge.
