Wound up in Wexford

Bride Street church

There are two almost identical churches in Wexford town.  Designed by a friend of Pugin*.  Both have huge car parks.

The more central one is The Church of the Immaculate Conception, also known as Rowe Street Church (easier to say).  Parking there is €1.50 an hour.  A little further from the centre is this one - The Church of The Assumption, or Bride Street Church.  It's €4 for as long as you like.

It's really convenient for the flute group meeting place - this morning, a bit of a hike  across town to the sewing group - this afternoon.  And then after those, I did the supermarket shopping - didn't get home till almost 7pm.  W was waiting for the rice I had bought (he knew I'd bought it because I crossed it off our shared shopping list!) to have with the cauliflower and butter bean curry he'd made.

W spent the day home alone - got more veggie stuff planted before cooking the lovely dinner.

* There are several churches designed by Pugin himself around County Wexford
