Diwrnod llawn anturiaethau ~ A day full of adventures

“Practice any art, music, singing, dancing, acting, drawing, painting, sculpting, poetry, fiction, essays, reportage, no matter how well or badly, not to get money and fame, but to experience becoming, to find out what’s inside you, to make your soul grow.”
― Kurt Vonnegut

Roedden ni gofalu am y plant eto heddiw. Aethon ni ar y beiciau, gyda phlant yn y seddi cefn, i Gored Radur ac i Fferm y Fforest. Roedd y dŵr yn uchel ar y Taf ac y ddau dyrbin Radur yn cylchdroi. Roedd y plant yn hapus i chwarae ar lan yr afon a thaflu cerrig i'r dŵr. Yna aethon ni i lawr i Fferm y Fforest lle mae ardal bicnic tawel, (ger maes parcio, ond does dim byd yn berffaith). Mae cerflun enfawr yna, wedi'i gerfio, rydw i'n meddwl, o hen goeden. Gwnaeth y plant yn mwynhau archwilio'r ardal. Aethon i adre trwy Barc Hailey lle gwnaeth y plant yn chwarae ar y siglenni. Yna roedd amser mynd adre i ginio.

Ar ôl cinio, aethon ni'n ôl i wneud nodau tudalen a ddechreuon ni ddydd Mercher. Gorffennodd y ddau blentyn eu gwnïo (gyda llawer o waith o'u mam-gu), ac aeth adre, gyda'u mam, gyda rhywbeth i ddangos am eu hamser yma.

Rydyn ni wedi blino nawr. Yfory rydyn ni'n mynd yn ôl i weithio ar ein nenfwd sy'n gollwng. Bydd hynny'n hwyl. Ac yn flêr.

We looked after the children again today. We went on the bikes, with children in the back seats, to Radyr Weir and to Forest Farm. The water was high on the Taff and the two Radyr turbines were rotating. The children were happy to play by the river and throw stones into the water. Then we went down to the Forest Farm where there is a quiet picnic area, (near a car park, but nothing is perfect). There's a huge statue there, carved, I think, from an old tree. The children enjoyed exploring the area. We went home through Hailey Park where the children played on the swings. Then it was time to go home for lunch.

After lunch, we went back to making bookmarks that we started on Wednesday. The two children finished their sewing (with a lot of work from their grandmother), and went home, with their mother, with something to show for their time here.

We are tired now. Tomorrow we go back to work on our leaky ceiling. That will be fun. And messy.
