The early Hedgehog...

...catches the snail! Was surprised to see Mrs Tiggywinkle out and about at 9am but then read that at this time of year nursing and pregnant hedgehogs sometimes come out in daylight in search of extra food. The empty snail shells in the flower bed were evidence of this.

Shocking night, the patient had two falls. As a result I’ve been awake since 2.44am. District Nurse came to dress wounds. GP came to assess situation, now waiting on test results. Shattered.
