Clematis and Marshmallow

The Clematis has been looking rather good for a while now, thought I'd better record it before we get wind and rain again.
Note to Self: When taking a photograph from my bedroom window ensure the blind is pulled up!
The other photo is a fire in the old BBQ, which is destined for the recycling centre as the legs are collapsing! The girls wanted a fire so they could do some Marshmallows. Rather than use the BBQ charcoal I just got some thin logs which are stored around in the vegetable patch area. They have been there for a couple of years now and it showed in the superb way they burned. A lot of heat and they descended into what looked like charcoal anyway. Can't remember what the wood was but it may have been the Mayflower (Hawthorn) tree I cut down, which was 2 or 3 years ago. Gave the girls a nice time, and the roasted marshmallows were delicious.
