Porthmadog

We have finally arrived! A long drive, but apart from a couple of hold-ups, and a couple of longer stoos so that Django could stretch his legs (us too!), it went quite well.
I am looking forward to discovering this area which is important for Julian - he spent many holidays here working with his dad on the Ffestiniog railway and visiting his step-grandmother. The cottage is overlooking the Glaslyn Estuary. It was dull when we arrived but should have a good view when the weather improves.
