Split rail

I have been wanting a cedar split rail fence at the entrance to our driveway for years. We already had the cedar tree cut up in the side yard for years. So now that the man is still nursing his repaired bicep he decides to do it. When I was NOT HOME. He knew I would nag and yell. Fortunately, no holes were dug for the posts but metal fencing posts hammered into the ground secured the structure. Probably just as bad. I know he did not use just his left arm.

The one on the left has wild grapevines draped on it. If the birds and deer don’t eat them we might get a taste. They were growing up a tree just behind the fence. I am hoping to get honeysuckle or yellow jessamine or maybe the wild pink roses that grow along the roads here on the other bare fence. Or something that likes heat and hardly any water. Deer resistant!

Jerry still has several more weeks of PT for his arm and the surgeon follow-up in 2 weeks. He is still not doing any reach over the head exercises. Very frustrated man. He needs to be patient and he doesn’t know how!
