In the habour of Ilfracombe

We got on our bikes today and did a long cycle ride along the coast to Woolacombe then inland (up steep hills where we ended up pushing the bikes) and down what used to be the railway line to Ilfracombe (which apparently derives from the Anglo-Saxon for in the "Valley of the sons of Alfred").

The gulls abounded in the harbour and I caught this cheeky chap resting.
