Painting in the museum of the old Ritz Cinema.
When I moved to Seaford in the 70s, the cinema was a short walk away from where we lived, but was well past its heyday. The first time we went, we couldn't understand why people in the queue had travelling rugs with them. Once inside we saw why - the roof leaked, it was very cold, and the some of the wall lights along the corridor had fallen out and were sitting, still lit, on piles of rubble. I don't think H & S would have been OK with this nowadays!
