Nest Repairs/Building

…….. a very busy female blackbird came back several times to get a beak full of this - it’s an old insert from a hanging basket - I have to replace the inserts every year because the blackbirds pull them to bits. At the beginning of spring I take out the old insert and break it up into bits which I loosen up and put in different parts of the garden so the blackbirds can just ‘find’ them. It costs a few pounds for a new insert which I don’t mind forking out for every year when I know that the old ones are so sought after and appreciated ;-))

A visit to the dentist this morning for a check up - all good thankfully, and I don’t need to to go back for another year, unless something unexpected crops up ;-)
