The Photographer’s Hands.
Pat and I visited Modern Two National Gallery, Edinburgh to view the Ian Hamilton Finlay exhibition. (On until Monday 26, May.)
Ian Hamilton Finlay lived and developed the house and grounds known as Little Sparta.
Pat and I have visited Little Sparta on several occasions and plan to do so again this summer. Regrettably, we were very disappointed with this exhibition.
The main photo was taken in the Gentleman’s Toilets. Very colourful tiling.
The two extras are of sculptures by Eduardo Palozzi. The gallery has a major selection of sculptures and also featured is a display of his workshop and studios. Well worth a visit.
After our visit, we visited our friend Wilma to catch up over afternoon cocktails.
The third extra shows the view from Wilma’s lounge. The ‘neighbours’ are very peaceful.
