If I were to try and envision Hell, it would be something like Studio 54 ; Bacchanalia among a rowdy crowd of debauched, shallow, self-obsessed narcissists trying desparately to prove that they are "cooler" and "wilder" than everybody else. Perhaps The Wachowski Brothers feel the same way and that Club Hell was a parody of something like Studio 54. They say, "Never meet your heroes," and one look at the notable patrons list of Studio 54 makes me think that is most likely very good advice. I shudder to think what sort of sordid antics some of those people got up to. Most likely the same sort of things that went on at Little Saint James, judging by some of those "honourables." God save us from the tyranny of cool.

Thankfully, I was in much better company today. Another wonderful St. Michael's Bazaar. It truly is a heartwarming, life-affirming event; everybody working together to create the happiest day possible. No egos, just everybody mucking-in and having fun, from current and former pupils, to parents, staff and even university students volunteering their assistance. I am privileged to be a part of this fantastic team.

Obviously I didn't take this photo since I am in it, as is another Blipper to whom I owe thanks for this photo - and much more besides - but I did work hard today in order to be in it so I think I can be forgiven.
