Third time lucky

Despite my foot being sore I decided to walk from Bond Street station to the office. Noticed this view when I got to Trafalgar Square of Nelson and Big Ben far in the distance.

My morning meeting got sabotaged and despite two hours blocked out, we barely had about 20 minutes to talk about stuff. We've now had to rearrange for May.

Another meeting with our global head of sustainability to get her to understand why the UK market is so different to the other ones in the group. She's flaming useless and I can't help but wear my emotions on my sleeve.

We kicked off our first exchange forum for our ESG accelerator programme which seemed to go well.

Then me and my young padawan were zoned in to complete our investor award submission. We think our submission is outstanding and we've got a great chance to win again. If we do it will be the third time, the first company to ever do that. And yet, I'm having to defend and justify the existence of my team.

She's off now for the weekend, it is her hen do. It started tonight and she got changed before heading out to London. She looked sensational. I'm sure she'll have a great weekend.

Ended up doing another walk back to Paddington. How I did it I don't know.

Train was home delayed around Newport and Port Talbot, which I can cash in another delay repay tomorrow.

I went straight to bed.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  Good walks across London
2.  Work days with my young padawan
