It was a strange Parkrun for me today. I have a couple of niggling problems in my left leg, and really was ready to give it a miss this morning. Ultimately I decided Voltarol and Deep Heat might get me around the 5k course and it was worth a try.

It did. It was. 

I was slow, but who cares? And yes, it was lovely on the course today. 

No football this afternoon - Spiders were playing at Ayr. I would have loved to be there, but it is 2 hours each way in the car or 3 separate bus/train journeys. They got a 2-2 draw against a team well above them in the league, so I might treat myself to a beer later. 

I am not a headphones person when it comes to Parkrun because I enjoy the real life sounds, but I do have a playlist which I listen to when I am getting ready.
