Berlin TV Tower

We spent an enjoyable morning with daughter Sian and son-in-law Tristan viewing potential houses to buy.  We looked at three terraced houses of similar size and floor plan in different states of “improvement” and asking price. It was useful to see the potential of the least developed (and less expensive) property.
Afterwards we retired to S & T’s current home to discuss our impressions over a cup of tea. Tristan has an impressive collection of vinyl and their latest acquisition is a model of the TV tower in Berlin, which they bought on a recent visit. It sits in the middle of the record deck spinning with the record like a glitter ball. Apparently this facsimile used to be much in demand as a memento of any visit to East Berlin in the 70s.
