That time of year again
A busy domestic goddess day, that started with vacuuming at 7am.
Then I popped to the farm shop for our first of this season’s asparagus. It was still in the ground last night.
Bloody lovely it was too*. Onion & mushrooms sweated down in olive oil & two kinds of paprika. That was laid on some puff pastry, then asparagus and finally aged goats cheese on top. After baking in the oven the cheese goes like a soft fluffy soufflé.
A favourite meal at my favourite time of year.
