Early one morning.

I was standing looking out of the kitchen window just before 6am this morning waiting for the kettle to boil to make the tea. 

I noticed this goldfinch at the Niger seeds. I didn’t really think I would get the camera in time. It must have been hungry because it hung around for some time. 

Only slight disappointment was it had its back towards me and never turned around.
