       …there's TWO of them!  Anybody remember that Stone-age "Hammer o' the Scots" joke?
       By an odd coincidence two of the only three Roses threw up mighty shoots last year.  Out of idle curiosity I wondered how they'd do and left one from each plant when I pruned.
