Spinning and weaving

Our little group of Crafty Blippers has been to a workshop today. We have been spinning our own wool and then doing some weaving whilst learning about different types of UK wool producing breeds. It has been a really interesting day. Our usual group of four went and we were honoured that Technophobe spent her birthday with us.

The Rose spun wool in my little mat is off white merino and then grey and cream mix of Jacob ship and two others I can’t remember. One was from Leicester and one was from a sheep that had a name sounding like Coronation…
