Ta Da!

I finished! It is blessed with the prayer flags, and I dubbed it “Arbor of a Thousand Bent Nails.” It has been a fun project, one that because I am a slow carpenter, took about a month (but many of those delays were weather related). I used many of my dad’s tools, and I was reminded of one of his sayings in regards to my many mistakes on this project: “A blind man would pay a million bucks to see that.” I miss my dad when it comes to these projects, but I know he’s right there with me shaking his head when I screw up a cut, and with me as I get something right with one of his tools in hand. More blips to come from this garden sanctuary.
