Goodbye . . . Mary Hopkin

This afternoon was our street annual Hospice fundraiser and a farewell to Tony and Shirley.  The moving truck comes next week and they are off to live in the North Island near their grandchildren.  A family with young children has bought their home so a renewal of a sort for the street.  T & S have lived here twenty years.  Shirley was a music teacher and today brought her guitar to sing to us.  I remember a couple of times during lockdown we all assembled outside someones house to sing happy birthday and S played the guitar.
