Birthday Party

A day trip to London to visit Andy’s family. The occasion being to celebrate the big birthday milestone Andy reached at Easter. His son flew down from Edinburgh and the three of us had a picnic lunch and walk in Bushy Park before joining the rest of the family at Andy’s sister’s house.

It was a beautiful morning, sunny and warm, the hawthorn in flower and deer and birds grazing on the grass. And in the afternoon we were able to sit outside in Andy’s sister’s garden and enjoy champagne, food and conversation. We all have very different lives and are aged from 18 years to 86 years so there was lots of fun and lively discussion. Merlin joined us too and was pleased to mingle with people, dogs and food!
