The National

Up and out early today for a trip to London to meet with a key client.

It went really well and I don't think we'll have any issues retaining them for another year. We were meant to go to lunch with them, but they had to cancel, so with some time in hand, my boss suggested we head over to the National Gallery.

It was an easy "yes" for me, so we took a nice stroll around marvelling at the masterpieces. How artists are able to paint light is always a source of fascination to me. 

It gave my outgoing boss and I time to have a good catchup and for me to pick his brains about how best to step into at least one of his shoes in the coming months.
