Another Day Dawns….

It was a special day for me. For months now, I have walked alone every early morning. Alone, without the company of my faithful shadow, Maisie the Labradoodle. Very sadly, at New Year, Maisie, due to insurmountable health issues, crossed the Rainbow Bridge and out of my life. It was a very dark time for me and my family. I thought I would never have another dog….. but after over 50 years of dog ownership I decided I could not be without another one in my life. So….. now I have Ruby Rose. She is a gold and white Border Collie and is now 16 weeks old. Early this morning she walked (scampered) the River paths with me. Her first break of dawn walk ever.
