Quiet
Sundays are supposed to be quiet on the trains, I was aware of the marathon, but all runners would have been there by now. However forgot that there would be train fills of Notting Forest fans heading to Wembley. Surely at 8.00 am on a Sunday morning they would still be in bed and they wouldn’t be consuming gallons of Madri on my train. Wrong!
Thankfully, noise cancelling earbuds solved the immediate challenges, then we were parted by my choice of the Elizabeth line. Now they are a distinct memory.
