Beach life on Crete

My first “real” stay in Greece and Crete (apart from a stopover in Athens a long time ago and we even had to stay on the plane). We arrived late yesterday, didn't get to bed until early this morning and got off to a slow start. The weather today is much better than the weather forecast predicted and the thick rain clouds are only hanging over the mountains, leaving the beach area in the sun. The kids were totally fascinated by the horse and rider in the sea.
