The Gardener Taking a Nap

Preston Update … He is getting used to being restricted to the garden because if he hops off beyond the garden someone rushes after him and then takes him indoors. He’d rather be outdoors. It’s taken a long time to get to this point as he is not the brightest cat in the world! Of course everything new has to be tried out: a bed of straw, how comfortable for a cat with 3 legs; a newly turned vegetable patch, what a huge litter tray; a new chair on the deck, well that’s obviously for Preston. 

I visited a friend today whose cat was killed, probably by a fox, two nights ago. She was in pieces having found the remains in the garden. We have never let our cats out at night, I don’t think I’d sleep if they weren’t indoors.
